Course Description More and more companies need to watch their budgets, and track and manage huge amounts of data. This course is level one out of three for Microsoft Excel. The course offers the basic of Excel and will teach you how to create and manage Spreadsheets, Workbooks, and navigate through the programs many options. Target Audience This course has been designed for people with little or no experience with Excel or other Microsoft Office Programs and offers the fundamental skills necessary to use the program effectively. A basic understanding of computers and Windows although not necessary will benefit the students greatly. Learning Objectives Upon successful completion of the Excel training course students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental terminology of the program
- Be able to find help in the program
- Create a new Spreadsheet and/or Workbook
- Modify or Format an existing spreadsheet with different themes, designs & data
- Select and format row, column and cell values individually or as a group
- To create and edit Header/Footer information
- To create and use Formula’s in spreadsheets to perform basic calculations
- Review and Edit your worksheets
- Create or Generate reports from the data in your worksheets
